Emma loved superheroes. She wore a red cape everywhere—at home, at school, even to the grocery store! "One day, I’ll have real superpowers!" she told her dog, Buster.

Page 2:
At school, Emma saw her friend Leo sitting alone. His head was down, and he wasn’t smiling. "Something is wrong," Emma thought.

Page 3:
She walked over and asked, "Are you okay, Leo?"

Leo sighed. "I lost my favorite toy. I feel really sad."

Page 4:
Emma thought about how she would feel if she lost her teddy bear, Cuddles. Her heart felt a little heavy.

Page 5:
"I understand, Leo. Losing something special is hard. Do you want me to help you look for it?"

Leo’s face brightened. "Really? You would help me?"

Page 6:
Together, they searched the classroom. They peeked under chairs, inside cubbies, and behind bookshelves.

Page 7:
Finally, near the art table, Emma spotted a small red car. "Leo, look! Is this your toy?"

Page 8:
Leo gasped. "Yes! Thank you, Emma!" He hugged his toy car tightly.

Page 9:
At that moment, Emma felt something amazing—her heart felt warm and happy.

Page 10:
That night, she told Buster, "I think I do have a superpower!"

Page 11:
Buster tilted his head.

Emma giggled. "Empathy is my superpower! When I understand how others feel and help them, I make the world better!"

Page 12:
The next day, Emma wore her cape proudly, knowing she had a power that didn’t need magic—just kindness and a big heart.

"Wow, Max! Should we take a trip to Mercury?" Henry exclaimed.

"Absolutely, Henry! Let's go!" Sam replied.

"Henry, did you know that Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun?" Sam asked.

"Yes! It's only about 36 million miles away from the Sun. That's less than half the distance from the Earth to the Sun!" Henry replied.

As the spaceship hovered above Mercury's surface, Sam said, "Henry, it's super hot here during the day. Temperatures can reach up to 800 degrees Fahrenheit!"

"But at night," Henry added, "it gets really cold, as low as -290 degrees Fahrenheit. That's quite a swing! Imagine how difficult it would be to live here."

Henry and Sam decided to wear their special space suits that kept them cool during the scorching day and warm during the freezing night. They stepped onto the planet's rocky ground, feeling a bit like explorers on a new world.

While walking around, they spotted a small, friendly robot. "Hi there! I'm Mercury's Messenger. I was sent to gather information about this planet. Would you like to learn some fun facts?"

"Sure!" Henry and Sam said in unison.

"Mercury doesn't have an atmosphere like Earth," said the Messenger. "That's why its surface is covered in craters. The lack of air also means there's no wind, and the sky is always black, even during the day."

"Wow! That's so different from Earth," Henry said. "How long is a day on Mercury?"

The Messenger replied, "One day on Mercury lasts about 59 Earth days. But it orbits the Sun quickly, taking just 88 Earth days to complete one revolution. So, a year on Mercury is shorter than two Mercury days!"

As they approached Earth, Henry said, "Sam, we learned so much about Mercury today! It's a fascinating place, but definitely not suitable for humans to LIVE."

"You're right, Henry. But it was an incredible adventure, and I'm glad we got to explore it together," Sam replied with a smile.

One day, his best friend Marco asked, "Alex, why do you work so hard?"

"I want to graduate and walk across that stage," Alex said with a smile. "I can't let my family down."

As graduation day approached, the principal made a sad announcement during assembly.

"Our school stadium, where many of you hoped to graduate, is unsafe due to old age. We need to raise funds to repair it," she explained.

Alex felt disappointed. He had always dreamed of receiving his diploma on that stage.

"We can't let this happen," Alex told Marco. "Let's do something to help."

Together with their classmates, they organized fundraisers—bake sales, fun runs, and more. The whole school joined in, hoping to restore the stadium.

On graduation day, Alex stood proudly in his cap and gown. Though the stadium still needed repairs, he knew they had made a difference.

The Special Words We Say

A wise leader once walked through a village where a skilled blacksmith, Elias, had forged the town’s strongest tools for years. One day, Elias’s hands grew weaker due to an illness, making it difficult to wield his hammer.

The villagers, worried about losing their best blacksmith, debated what to do. Some suggested replacing him, while others ignored the problem, hoping it would fix itself. But the village leader saw a third path.

The leader spoke with Elias, understanding his needs. With small changes—modifying his tools, adjusting his workspace, and giving him needed support—Elias continued to craft with precision, his wisdom and experience still invaluable to the village.

The leader had not just helped one man; they had strengthened the entire community by ensuring everyone had what they needed to thrive.

Leadership is not about removing those who struggle but about ensuring each worker has the tools to contribute. When employees need medical accommodations, leadership is the bridge between challenge and success. Build the bridge, and the work continues.

Making the Sign of the Cross at the start of the day, before meals, or in moments of distress serves as a reminder of one's identity as a Catholic. It is a way to invoke God's protection and grace in daily life.

Profession of Faith: The Sign of the Cross is a declaration of belief in the Holy Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The words "In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit" affirm the unity of God while simultaneously recognizing the distinct persons of the Trinity. This gesture encapsulates the core mysteries of Christianity, including the Incarnation and the redemptive death of Jesus Christ

Symbol of Salvation: By tracing the cross, Christians acknowledge the significance of Christ's sacrifice. The cross is not merely a symbol of suffering but a representation of salvation and the love of God for humanity. It reminds believers of the Paschal Mystery—Christ's death and resurrection—which is central to Christian faith

Tim-Tim runs to the bathroom. He pulls down his pants. He sits on the potty.

He waits… and waits… and waits…

Nothing happens.

“Hmmm…” Tim-Tim taps his chin. “Maybe my pee is hiding.”

Mommy laughs. “That’s okay! Try again later.”

Tim-Tim plays with his toys. He drinks some water. He jumps like a kangaroo.

Suddenly… “Uh-oh!” Tim-Tim freezes. “I feel something!”

He runs to the potty. He sits down.

He waits… and waits…

Plop! Plop!

Tim-Tim’s eyes get big. “It came out!”

Mommy claps. “Great job, Tim-Tim!”

Tim-Tim grins. “Let’s see where it goes!”

He stands up and flushes.

WHOOSH! The water swirls! The potty monster eats it all!

“Bye-bye, poop!” Tim-Tim waves.

Now Tim-Tim washes his hands. Scrub, scrub, splash! Oops! Water goes everywhere!

Mommy laughs. “Tim-Tim, not a water park!”

Tim-Tim giggles. He is a big boy now!

The End.
