Nursezim looks after her younger sister Jansezim in addition to helping her mother with housework. Nursezim's mother was a modest housewife, while her father was a farmer. Nursezim excelled academically and assisted her father in the tomato field during her leisure time. Since fifth grade, Nursezim had a strong desire to study English. She begins receiving extra instruction from her English teacher. The fact that Nursezim spends time in extra lessons and completes extra assignments in addition to his schoolwork annoys her parents. They insist that their daughter take care of their siblings, assist around the house, and focus more on the family business. When a diligent girl told her instructor about her family circumstances, the teacher suggested that she attend extra lessons once a week and do the other assignments at home. An overseas investor was brought home by a friend of his father one day. A foreign visitor begs his father to accompany him to the tomato field so he may see the plantation. However, he was incomprehensible to his father, who did not speak English. Nursesim saved the day at this point by speaking with his father and the investor. Page 3 When they arrived at Lung Yeuk Tau, Xiaoming and Xiaohua first visited the old village called Lo Wai. The tall walls and narrow gate made them feel curious. Page 4 The guide told them stories about Lo Wai. In the past, villagers built these defenses to protect against pirates, making them feel very safe. Page 5 Next, they went to the Tin Hau Temple. Inside the temple were beautiful statues, and there were two ancient bronze bells used for praying for safety. Page 6 Xiaohua was especially interested in the stories about the Tin Hau Temple. She learned that villagers would take the statues out to parade during Tin Hau's birthday. Page 7 Finally, they visited the Songling Tang Kung Ancestral Hall. Xiaoming was amazed by the architecture and heard the touching story of Tang Songling. Page 8 At the end of the trip, Xiaoming and Xiaohua felt that this journey was very special. They hoped to come back to Lung Yeuk Tau one day to explore more stories!

But the dragons, now friends, with flames so bright, Burned the trees down, ending the fight. King Adoola, with wisdom, captured her fast, "Abracadabra," he chanted, her powers didn't last. Banished far away, Cruella's tale did conclude, In the sky kingdom, joy was renewed. For good always triumphs, love lights the way, And in their flying castle, the family would play.

John Jr gave Yuēhàn some history about the Civil War. The American Civil War was a war between the Union (Northern US States) and the Confederacy (Southern US States) that lasted from 1861-1865. The war was fought over disagreements about slavery, states vs. federal rights, the election of Abraham Lincoln, and the economy. 3. John Jr found some information on the battle of Gettysburg. The Battle of Gettysburg was a three-day battle fought between Union and Confederate forces between July 1 and July 3, 1863, in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The battle, which was won by the Union, is widely considered the Civil War's turning point, ending the Confederacy's aspirations to establish an independent nation. It was the Civil War's bloodiest battle, claiming over 50,000 combined casualties over three days. 4. Yuēhàn found some information of the final battle and shared it with John Jr. The Battle of Palmito Ranch took place on May 12–13, 1865, near the Rio Grande in Cameron County, Texas. The battle was fought between Confederate forces under Col. John S. “Rip” Ford and Union forces under Col. Theodore H. Barrett. The battle resulted in a Confederate victory. 5. John.
