One morning at school, Katie was walking to her classroom when she saw Sarah sitting alone by the playground. Sarah had always been mean to Katie. She would make fun of her shoes, call her silly names, and sometimes push her when no one was looking. Katie didn’t like Sarah, and she definitely didn’t want to help her. But as Katie walked past, Sarah called out, “Hey, Katie! Can you help me with my math homework? I don't understand it.” Sarah started to cry. Katie stopped. Her first thought was, "Why should I help her? She’s never been nice to me." Katie felt her cheeks getting hot, and her fists clenched. She wanted to turn away and keep walking. After all, Sarah had been so rude to her before. Why should she be nice now? But then, something in her heart made her pause. She remembered what her mom always said: "Two wrongs don’t make a right." Katie wasn’t sure what that meant exactly, but she knew her mom would want her to be kind and helpful, even if it was hard. Katie took a deep breath and walked over to Sarah. "I’ll help you," she said, trying not to sound too grumpy. Sarah looked surprised but didn't argue. "Thank you so much, Katie." She said with teary eyes. Katie sat down beside her and helped Sarah with the math problems. They worked quietly for a few minutes, and slowly, Sarah began to smile. “Oh, I get it now,” Sarah said, her face lighting up. “Thanks, Katie. I didn’t know how to do this before." Sarah hugged Katie tightly. Katie felt proud of herself. It was hard to help someone who had been mean, but she felt like she had made the right choice. Even though Sarah wasn’t always kind to her, Katie knew she could still be the bigger person. As the bell rang and Katie stood up to go to class, Sarah said, “Hey, um, sorry about the stuff I said before. I wasn’t very nice.” Katie smiled and nodded. “It’s okay,” she said. She didn’t expect Sarah to change overnight, but at least she knew she had done something good.

Binibigyang halaga sa pistang ito ang naggagandahang bulaklak kung saan kilala ang lungsod na ito. Nagsimula ang pagdiriwang ng Panagbenga noong 1995. Isinagawa ng pistang ito para maiangat muli ang Lungsod ng Baguio mula sa malagim na lindol noong 1990. Maraming gawain ang makikita sa pagdiriwang ng Panagbenga. Ang pinakasikat at inaabangang gawain tuwing pista ng bulaklak ay ang parada. Kasama sa paradang ito ay sayawan sa kalsada at pagtugtog ng mga banda. Pinakabida sa paradang ito ang mga higanteng karosa na puno ng mga magaganda at mababangong bulaklak. Sa paggawa ng karosang ito, ipinakikita ng mga Pilipino ang kanilang pagiging malikhain at pagiging matulungin. Ipinaparada ang mga ito sa malalaking kalsada ng lungsod. Maraming mga taong galing pa sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng Pilipinas ang dumadayo sa Baguio upang mapanood ito.

Heavenly sister is graduating college, and she and her dad are going to the graduation. They live in Houston TX but her sister goes to Howard which is a famous HBCU in Washington DC. She searched her pockets, purse, and shopping bags, but the key was nowhere to be found. As she started to panic, her young neighbor Emma, an eight-year-old with a cheerful smile, noticed her distress and asked what was wrong. Mrs. Green explained her problem, and Emma, always quick with ideas, suggested checking the sidewalk in case the key had fallen out during the walk home. When Mrs. Green said she had already looked everywhere, Emma had another suggestion. She offered to pray with Mrs. Green to ask for help in finding the key, explaining that prayer was powerful and that God was always listening. Though not accustomed to praying, Mrs. Green agreed, touched by Emma’s confidence. They sat together on the steps, and Emma led a simple, heartfelt prayer, asking God to help them find the lost key. Mrs. Green felt a sense of comfort and hope after the prayer, even though she wasn’t sure what to expect. Afterward, the two of them retraced Mrs. Green’s steps, searching once again in the areas they had already checked. Just as Mrs. Green was about to lose hope, Emma called out from near the bushes by the front steps. There, hidden in the leaves, was the missing key. Mrs. Green was overjoyed and couldn’t believe it. She hugged Emma and thanked her, feeling grateful not only for finding the key but also for the reminder of the power of prayer. Emma simply smiled and said she believed God had helped them. From that moment on, Mrs. Green never forgot the lesson Emma had taught her. Whenever she encountered a problem, whether big or small, she remembered to turn to prayer for guidance, just like Emma had shown her. And remarkably, things always seemed to work out in the end.
