Fran and Jim go to the beach. Fran’s parents and Jim’s parents are there. Fran, Jim and both of their parents are from the Turks and Caicos Islands. Fran takes off her slippers and feels the sand between her toes. Jim runs towards the sea; he couldn’t wait to get into the water. Before reaching the water, Jim pauses, looks around and shouts to Fran to go into the water with him. Fran starts to run towards Jim then stops before reaching the water. Jims asks “what’s wrong? Don’t you want to go swimming with me?”. Fran looked a little sad and said “I want to go swimming but I don’t know how. I am afraid.” Jim tells Fran, “don’t be afraid, I have something that can help you to learn how to swim. Come with me.” Jim then runs towards his parents and shouts to his mother, “mommy, can you please give me the arm floats?”. Jim’s mother took out the arm floats from her beach bag, and gave them to Jim. Jim gave one to Fran and said “here, blow that float up and I will blow this one up”. Fran and Jim each blew up one arm float. Then Jim said “Now slide these up your arms. I will help you. They will help you to float in the water.” After the floats were on her little upper arms, she held out her arms and started to walk towards the water with Jim. Jim went into the water up to his knees first. Jim then turned and reached out his hand to Fran and said “come in the water with me”. Fran held his hand and walked into the water with him. As Fran went further into the water, she then exclaimed to Jim “I can’t feel the bottom with my feet anymore!”. Jim then laughed and said, “that’s because you are floating”. Then Fran realized that the arm floats were helping her to float. She then laughed and shouted to her parents saying “Mommy, Daddy, I am floating!”. Her parents waved to her smiling and Jim’s parents were also smiling. Fran and Jim then had fun laughing and playing in the water together, while both of their parents looked on, smiling. Fran and Jim had the best beach day ever.

One morning Juliet woke up earlier than usual. She was very excited because today she and her parents, Sergei and Tilly, were going to visit her Uncle Peter's farm. It was her favourite place! They quickly got ready and set off. ‘I can't wait to see all the animals!’ Juliet said happily. ‘Don't worry, you'll see them soon!’ smiled Sergei. Page 2: Meeting the animals At the farm, Uncle Peter was waiting for them at the gate. ‘Hello, Juliet, are you ready for a new adventure?’ - he asked. Juliet quickly ran to the paddock where her new friends were waiting: Milka the cow, Windy the horse, Clucky the chicken and a little piglet called Snuffle. All the animals were very friendly. ‘Oh, this little piggy is so funny!’ - Juliet laughed. Page 3: The little helper Uncle Peter asked Juliet to help him with the chores. ‘Do you want to feed the chickens?’ he asked. ‘Sure!’ Juliet replied. She took a bucket of grain and began to feed the chickens. They clucked happily, and the little yellow chicks ran after their mother. Juliet was happy to watch them. Juliet enjoyed watching them and felt like a real farmer. Page 4: Riding a horse After lunch, Uncle Peter invited Juliet to ride his horse, Windy. ‘I've always wanted to do that!’ - Juliet said. She climbed on Windy's back and the horse began to trot gently across the green field. Juliet held on to his mane and laughed with delight as the wind blew her hair. Page 5: Returning home After a fun day at the farm, Juliet, Sergei and Tilly said goodbye to Uncle Peter and his animals. ‘This was the best day!’ - Juliet said. ‘Come back again, there are always new adventures waiting for you!’ - said Uncle Peter. Despues bajan para comer desayuno que es preparado por su abuelita NyNy. Despues NyNy les trenzaba el cabello en colitas. El dia estaba muy soleado y parecia un buen dia para ir al parque Ravena. Salieron con NyNy para caminar al parque, Jamie y Stevie saltaban con felicidad mientras caminaban con NyNY al parque. Lo primeros que vieron en el parque fueron unos patos. Los persiquieron pero los patos se metieron a una laguna. De ahi corrieron al sube y baja. Stevie tenia miedo paro Jamie la llevo de la mano y bajaron riendo. De ahi pasaron a la barra de mono. Jamie subio pero Stevie se quedo mirando a su hermana mayor. De ahi pasaron a los columpios que a los dos les gusta mucho. Empezó a llover un poquito y se metieron con la NyNy debajo una palapa.
