Sol stood tall. “I’m solid because my particles stay close together,” he said. “I keep my shape, like rocks and ice.” Liq twirled. “I flow because my particles can move a bit, like water or juice!” Gas floated in. “I’m free to spread out! My particles zoom around, like air or steam.” Mia was amazed. “Can you change?” Gas puffed up. “We can! Watch!” He cooled down, turning into rain, then Liq turned into ice as the air got colder. “We’re all matter, just in different forms,” they said. Mia smiled. “Thanks! Desiring to observe them closely, Kofi ingeniously modified fishing techniques for his purpose. He constructed a tall pole with his father, attaching a light fishing line and a small box at its end to hold flying termites, the swallows' favorite food. His unusual method, dubbed 'sky fishing,' intrigued the villagers. As Kofi hoisted the termite-filled basket into the air, swarms of swallows were attracted, allowing everyone, including Kofi, to marvel at their beauty up close. This activity soon became a cherished village pastime. Kofi's innovative and respectful approach to nature turned 'swallow fishing' into a beloved tradition, highlighting the harmony between humans and nature, and reminding us to appreciate and respect the natural world around us."

Now, find something to stand on," said Pip. Teddy saw a big rock. He climbed on it. "Pip, look! I am on the rock!" he said. "Great, Teddy! Now, find a place to hide under," said Pip. Teddy found a big bush. He crawled under it. "Pip, I am under the bush!" he said. "Well done, Teddy! You used all the words: in, on, and under," said Pip. They kept playing and using the words. Teddy found himself in a small cave, on a log, and under a tree branch. As the sun went down, Teddy and Pip sat by the pond. "Thank you, Pip. I had fun and learned new words," said Teddy. The farmer witnesses the arrest and disappearance of neighbors, realizing that the Khmer Rouge’s brutality could soon affect those he knows and cares about. He decides to act rather than stand by, initiating his resistance. The farmer begins secretly hiding families on his property, moving them at night and smuggling food. He faces immense risk, aware that being caught would lead to execution for him and everyone he’s hiding. Rumors circulate that villagers are betraying each other to save themselves. The farmer becomes increasingly paranoid but is determined to stay strong and support those hiding on his property. Soldiers arrive to search his home. In a moment of intense danger, the farmer keeps his composure, calmly engaging the soldiers in conversation to avoid suspicion while hiding his terror. The soldiers move on, narrowly missing the hidden families. After the soldiers leave, the farmer and the families he sheltered are left in a quiet, tense relief. The families decide to move on the next day to prevent further danger to the farmer. Survivors, inspired by the farmer’s courage, tell his story in whispered tones to others, spreading awareness about the possibility of resistance even under a brutal regime.
