One morning Juliet woke up earlier than usual. She was very excited because today she and her parents, Sergei and Tilly, were going to visit her Uncle Peter's farm. It was her favourite place! They quickly got ready and set off. ‘I can't wait to see all the animals!’ Juliet said happily. ‘Don't worry, you'll see them soon!’ smiled Sergei. Page 2: Meeting the animals At the farm, Uncle Peter was waiting for them at the gate. ‘Hello, Juliet, are you ready for a new adventure?’ - he asked. Juliet quickly ran to the paddock where her new friends were waiting: Milka the cow, Windy the horse, Clucky the chicken and a little piglet called Snuffle. All the animals were very friendly. ‘Oh, this little piggy is so funny!’ - Juliet laughed. She did not want the children to not get presents on Christmas and be sad. Sarah went to the elf factory, where the elves make and wrap Christmas presents. Sarah helped wrap the presents and checked if each child got the right present. Sarah got to know Santa's reindeer and also visited Santa. Santa thanked her very much for her help. Sarah wrapped the presents on the sleigh. She got on the sleigh, and the reindeer flew high into the sky. Sarah went to every house on the night before Christmas and left presents for the children. It was a wonderful adventure. All the children were happy, and Christmas was, as usual, special.

There was a frog named Sammy. Sammy was a happy frog, he loved to splash in his little pond and swim around. His friend, Flipp the Duck, was his best friend. They lived together in their little pond. Sammy hopped around and Flipp paddled through the water. They played hard all day splashing around and then slept on the sandy bank. One day Sammy brought up the fact that they hadn’t gotten rain for a while. Flipp agreed but they shrugged it off and continued to play. They continued to think to themselves that it would rain but after a week they still hadn’t gotten rain. Their pond began to dry up. One day Sammy and Flipp woke up and when they walked down to their pond excited to play, they were met with a dry hole. What was once their pond was now a giant muddy hole. Sammy couldn’t believe it “what are we going to do without a pond?” he muttered. Flipp began to say, “maybe it will rain and then it will fill back up”. Sammy agreed and he and Flipp sat in their muddy hole waiting for even the slightest drop of rain. Days passed without any rain the days were filled with boredom, Sammy began to ask, “will it ever rain?” Flipp responded “it will one day we just have to be patient”. One day while Flipp was curled up and Sammy was staring at the sky, Sammy felt a small drop on his forehead. “Flipp get up I felt a drop!” he screamed, Flipp perked up and looked at the sky more drops began to fall. They both stood up and started leaping with joy as it began to rain harder and harder. They watched as their pond slowly filled back up Sammy yelled “cannon ball!” and jumped in, Flipp watched and couldn’t wait any longer and then he splashed into their pond. They both splashed each other as the rain began to fall even harder. Every day they would play in their pond, and it continued to rain every day for them and they never had to worry about a dry pond again.

Nate now had a name for his troubles called ADHD, he got a special plan at school and he wasn't just having trouble with inattention, he has impulsivity too. without intention he would disrupt the class by fidgeting, moving around and leaving his seat. he would run when you are supposed to walk, and he sometimes talked too much or interrupt people, or blurt out an answer without being asked. He had a hard time playing quietly and waiting his turn. the special strategies sometimes weren't enough so the doctor prescribed him some medication to help calm his body and focus. with supports, love and a special plan he was able to pass his grade and graduate.

Kevin a kid with wild hair and his friends go to a soccer game. When the game starts a player kicks the ball at Kevin. Kevin kicks it back and scores a goal his friends congratulate him. Then in the next play one of Kevin’s friends passes the ball to Kevin and Kevin shoots the ball and misses. His friends tell him that he is bad and to get off the team. Kevin go to a tree and falls asleep. He wakes up in a strange place then a clone of him walks to him and welcomes him to the dream world. He shows him that he is going to be a great soccer player but only if he tried. Then he shows him how to get out of the dream world. And Kevin goes and rejoins the team and his friends apologize.

Miko the Meerkat and Lou the lizard live in the hot and dry Kalahari Desert. Miko the Meerkat and Lou the Lizard in the vast Kalahari Desert. Miko and Lou are best friends and do everything together! Miko is a bright, lively and friendly meerkat. He loves popping and looking out of burrows to explore the Kalahari. Miko likes moving from place to place and can’t stay still! Lou is a clever lizard; she loves to imagine the stars in the sky so much that she sometimes forgets to listen in class. Miko and Lou are different from their friends because they both have ADHD Miko struggled to stay still in class. He was always digging burrows and often got distracted during his How to Spot a Predator class. Lou also struggled in class. She couldn’t focus on her Sun Safety class because she was easily distracted by the clouds in the sky and often forgot to take down her homework.After visiting Dr Wild the Wildebeest, Miko and Lou learnt to do things that would help them to manage their ADHD. Although Miko and Lou struggled in class, their ADHD is now an advantage!Miko became the captain of the sand surfing team and had the fastest record in the desert! Miko was also top of his insect tracking class and created the first ever pair of insect spy goggles that could see different insect tracks and tell you what type of insect you are looking at!Lou enjoyed stargazing so much that she was top of the class for astronomy and could name every constellationEven though Miko and Lou had some tough times with their ADHD, they both learnt cool tricks to help them feel better and do their best. They have support from their parents, teachers and classmates. But the best part was that they could count on each other! Miko and Lou learnt how to handle their ADHD together and were always there to help each other when things got tough.
