A Wake Up Call By Ma. Melanie L. Padohinog Elisa is a simple girl who loves to stay in her room all day. She spends her time playing with her cellphone. She only gets out of her room when it is time to eat. Her parents would usually scold her because of her attitude. “Elisa, will you please go out for a while? It seems that you are too caught up with your cellphone. Can’t you help me in the kitchen? I’m so busy right now,” her mother said. “Wait for a while, Mom,” Elisa answered. “I just need to finish this video,” she added. “How many hours will I wait for you, Elisa? I need you right now!”, yelled mom. “For a while mom! I just really need to finish this”, answered Elisa. This angered mom. “If you will not get out of your room in a minute, I will confiscate your cellphone and I will not return it to you anymore,” her mother said. Elisa quickly went out of her room and said, “I’m sorry, Mom. I had been unhelpful to you. I promise I will not spend most of my time watching You Tube and playing Mobile Legends. I hope you will forgive me.” “It’s all right, Elisa. I just hope next time you will be responsible enough in using your gadgets. Remember that there is right time for that”, mom explained.

Brooklyn journeys back to the land of rainbows, silver, and gold to hopefully be able to spend Christmas with her fairy god sister lotus. Nothing could have prepared her for the amount of excitement she experienced along the way! Jazz got a new yellow umbrella from her grandmother. She couldn't use it because it wouldn't rain. Everyday she would look outside the window hoping the rain would fall. It didn't rain for several days but she would check day and night. Finally it rained. She was so happy. She could finally use her umbrella. She ran downstairs and asked her parents to go outside to play. She got dressed and put on her rain boots. She splashed around in muddy puddles and covered herself with her yellow umbrella

The story is about how little kids are always dismissed about having a smart idea because they're just kids or if there's ever someone in trouble or danger there's always this need to have an adult, usually a male, come in and save the day. Well, in this story, a dolphin is choking on a beach ball in the ocean near the beach and the lifeguards try and pull the ball out of his mouth, and the firefighters get called in and they try and do something to help get it out and still nothing and everyone is starting to run out of ideas and that's when this 5 year old boy named Landon steps up and says something like "maybe I can help" and so using his smaller toddler sized hands, is able to reach in just right and wiggle the ball free and save the day.

Write a short humorous book comparing messes children frequently make to messes that adults also accidentally despite being grown up. The moral of the book is that it is okay to make messes, you can clean them up and learn from your mistakes.
