From age 12 to 30, Jesus worked in Nazareth as a carpenter. Once he was an adult, Jesus travelled all over the country teaching people about God and encouraging people to respect and love one another. He also performed miracles, healed sick people and told amazing stories about God. He had all together 13 different disciples that helped him in spreading the word of God. 3. John thought Jesus sounded tough and kind and wanted to live in a manner like Jesus. 4. Granny read the Bible to John and gave him an important bible verse to remember. John 3:16 says "“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Granny thinks that verse gives people the glorious hope of eternal life in heaven through the love of God and death of Jesus Christ. Nibbles was my beautiful hamster, with soft, fluffy fur and big, curious eyes. I had gotten her as a present from my parents and she quickly became my beloved pet. Every day, I would spend hours playing with Nibbles in her brightly colored cage. She loved to run on her wheel and explore every nook and cranny of her home. There was always one treat in that Nibbles couldn’t resist, sunflower seeds. As soon as she saw me holding the bag of seeds, she would stand on her hind legs and squeak excitedly. One day, I decided to take Nibbles out of her cage and let her explore my room. As Nibbles grew older, she started to slow down and spend more time napping. Although she was just a hamster, she had brought so much joy and love into my life. My heart sank as I realized she had passed away in her sleep. I couldn’t stop the tears from falling as I said goodbye to my beautiful hamster.
