Sally looked up and saw the fisherman trying to reel in the fish. Sally thought for a moment, “why don’t you ask him to let you go?” she said. “Well I never thought of that,” remarked the fish. So the fish got up all of its might, jumped out of the water and yelled, “LET ME GO! Please!”, he said please because he was a polite fish after all. The fisherman didn’t move, he just kept trying to reel the fish in. “Well, what did he say?” asked Sally. “He doesn’t speak fish” replied the fish. Sally thought maybe she could try to talk to the fisherman. She flew over to him and said “excuse me, sir, but could you please let my friend the fish go?” But the fisherman only heard “caw, caw, caw caaaw, caw caw.” Sally flew back to the fish. The fish asked, “is he going to let me go?” “No” Sally replied, “he doesn’t speak seagull.” Just then a sea otter swam up, he had heard them talking and was wondering what the commotion was all about. Miko the Meerkat and Lou the lizard live in the hot and dry Kalahari Desert. Miko the Meerkat and Lou the Lizard in the vast Kalahari Desert. Miko and Lou are best friends and do everything together! Miko and Lou are different from their friends because they both have ADHD Miko struggled to stay still in class. He was always digging burrows and often got distracted during his How to Spot a Predator class. Lou also struggled in class. She couldn’t focus on her Sun Safety class because she was easily distracted by the clouds in the sky and often forgot to take down her homework.After visiting Dr Wild the Wildebeest, Miko and Lou learnt to do things that would help them to manage their ADHD. Although Miko and Lou struggled in class, their ADHD is now an advantage!Miko became the captain of the sand surfing team and had the fastest record in the desert! Miko was also top of his insect tracking class and created the first ever pair of insect spy goggles that could see different insect tracks and tell you what type of insect you are looking at!Lou enjoyed stargazing so much that she was top of the class for astronomy and could name every constellationEven though Miko and Lou had some tough times with their ADHD, they both learnt cool tricks to help them feel better and do their best. They have support from their parents, teachers and classmates. But the best part was that they could count on each other! Miko and Lou learnt how to handle their ADHD together and were always there to help each other when things got tough.

Benji stretched his legs and wagged his tail. Then, he ran out of his house and into the big, green forest. As he walked, he saw a tall, strong tree standing in the middle of the path. "Wow! What a big tree!" Benji said. He stood still and stretched his arms up like the branches. (Children move into Tree Pose – stand on one foot, arms up.) Benji heard a soft "meow." He turned and saw a small, fluffy cat sitting on a rock. "Hello, Cat! What are you doing?" asked Benji. "I am stretching my back," said the cat. She arched her back up and then down. (Children do Cat Pose – on hands and knees, round and arch the back.) Benji and the cat continued walking together when they heard a hissing sound. "What is that?" asked the cat. A long, shiny snake slithered out from behind a bush. "Hello, friends," said the snake. He stretched his body long and lifted his head. (Children do Snake Pose – lie on the stomach, hands under shoulders, and lift the chest.) Benji and the cat were happy to meet the snake. "Do you want to come on our adventure?" they asked. "Yes! But first, let’s rest on this big rock," said the snake. The three friends sat quietly on the rock, feeling the warm sun on their backs. (Children do Rock Pose – kneeling, fold forward, forehead on the ground, arms by sides.) After resting, they all stood up, stretched, and continued their adventure together, ready for more fun! The End.

One sunny day, under a shady tree, sat Mango, Apple and Orange. The three of them were best friends who always played together. Green leaves swayed gently in the breeze, and birds happily chirped happily on the branches. Apple, who was picking a small flower from the grass, smiled excitedly. ‘Why don't we go explore that green meadow over there?’ she suggested, pointing towards the fresh green expanse stretching not far from under the tree where they were staying. Enthusiastically, the three of them walked towards the vast green meadow. The sun shone warmly above their heads, and beautiful flowers bloomed all around, creating a colourful scene. Every now and then they stopped to admire the fluttering butterflies. After walking for some distance, Mango's eyes suddenly caught sight of something glittering in the grass. ‘Look at that!’ she exclaimed, pointing. Apple and Orange rushed over to Mango. There, in the undergrowth, was a medium-sized, gold-coloured stone that glittered amongst the greenery. The stone was very beautiful, as if it had been chiselled by the hand of a god. ‘Let's take it back to our tree.’ However, when they tried to lift it, it was heavier than they thought. Mango and Orange pulled, Apple pushed the rock slowly. They struggled persistently. Although they were tired, they did not give up. They encouraged each other and laughed. Finally, after a tiring journey, they managed to carry the golden stone to the bottom of the tree where they stopped. When the stone was placed on the ground, it reflected beautifully. The three of them sat by the stone, enjoying the fruits of their labour. From that day on, the golden stone became a symbol of their friendship.
