Kofi, an 11 yr old boy lives in a remote African jungle village. He has poor vision. He usually doesn't play with other children due to his blurry vision. He is sad and lonely. One day a village elder tells him of a Lion who lives far away but can help kofi's vision. the boy makes the long trek The Lion doctor examines the boy's eyes. He gives him a pair of eyeglasses. the boy returns home wearing his new eyeglasses but takes a long time as he is distracted by all of the new things that he sees, flowers, insects, birds, clouds. Once home he sees his mother clearly for the first time and tells her that he has the prettiest mother in the world which makes her cry for joy. He now can play with his friends. then he tells other villagers of his good fortune with the doctor and many of them also visit the lion and areturn wearing glasses. there is joy and fun in the village.

Nibbles was my beautiful hamster, with soft, fluffy fur and big, curious eyes. I had gotten her as a present from my parents and she quickly became my beloved pet. Every day, I would spend hours playing with Nibbles in her brightly colored cage. She loved to run on her wheel and explore every nook and cranny of her home. There was always one treat in that Nibbles couldn’t resist, sunflower seeds. As soon as she saw me holding the bag of seeds, she would stand on her hind legs and squeak excitedly. One day, I decided to take Nibbles out of her cage and let her explore my room. As Nibbles grew older, she started to slow down and spend more time napping. Although she was just a hamster, she had brought so much joy and love into my life. My heart sank as I realized she had passed away in her sleep. I couldn’t stop the tears from falling as I said goodbye to my beautiful hamster.

Opie and Calvin are playing in the jungle. They search for bugs with sticks til Calvin sees that Opie found a bigger bug. He gets jealous and whacks Opie with his stick. Opie goes crying to their mama chimpanzee. She puts them in time out. Later in the day, while she is preparing their dinner, Opie spots some bananas that he wants to eat. He sneaks to get one while his mom isnt looking.

It’s very unfair.” Twila frowned. “That doesn’t seem right.” Part 2: The King and Queen Twila saw two fancy figures below. "Who are they?" "That’s King Louis XVI and Queen Marie Antoinette," Luna said. "They’re supposed to lead France, but the king struggles with decisions, and the queen spends too much on parties. The people are tired of their unfair leadership." Part 3: Rights for All One night, Twila saw the people create the Declaration of the Rights of Man, with words like "Liberty," "Equality," and "Fraternity." “What do those words mean?” Twila asked. “They mean freedom and fairness for everyone,” Luna said. “The people want a better future, inspired by great thinkers and the American Revolution.” Part 4: The Reign of Terror But then Twila saw the guillotine and frightened people. "This is the Reign of Terror," Luna explained. "Robespierre wanted to protect the revolution, but many people were executed, even Queen Marie Antoinette. It was a dark time." Twila dimmed her light. “That’s so sad.” Part 5: Napoleon’s Rise and Fall Twila saw Napoleon Bonaparte take charge. "He brought order with the Napoleonic Code and built a huge empire," Luna said. "But his ambition led to mistakes—invading Russia in winter and losing key battles. Eventually, he was exiled." Twila sighed. “Even the brightest stars can fall if they’re not careful.” Part 6: A New Hope Finally, Twila saw leaders at the Congress of Vienna restoring peace. “They redrew borders and inspired fairness and equality worldwide,” Luna said. Twila twinkled brightly. “Even after tough times, people can create a brighter future.”

Kiki, Lulu, and Cici set off on an adventure down a peaceful river. Lulu and Cici are excited to reach their destination quickly. Lulu and Cici race forward, eager to see what’s at the end of the river. "Come on, Kiki, hurry up!" Lulu shouts impatiently. Meanwhile, Kiki stays calm, enjoying the view. She notices the flowers along the riverbank and listens to the birds singing. As Lulu and Cici rush ahead, they miss the little details around them. Kiki smiles, realizing how much they miss. Kiki says, "Lulu, Cici, slow down for a moment. Look at these flowers, listen to the birds sing. Slowing down helps us see more beauty." Cici pauses, “I never notice this before. It’s all so beautiful.” Lulu nods, “I think slowing down is a waste of time, but now we enjoy so much more.” After slowing down, they enjoy the journey more, realizing that taking their time on the river brings peace and happiness.

Once upon a time there was a beetle who loved to tell everyone how fast he could run. “I am the fastest insect in the park,” he would say. His slow and steady friend the snail, tired of hearing him brag, challenged him to a race. “Ha,” the beetle thought to himself, “there is no way a snail could ever win against me.” On the day of the race, all of the insects in the park gathered to watch. The centipede waved a checkered flag to start the race. The beetle zoomed past the starting line as fast as he could, while the snail carefully inched herself forward bit by bit. The beetle cried out “You will never win this race at that slow, slow pace.” Out of breath from running, the beetle eventually reached a small pond of water. He thought, “I have plenty of time. I just will go around the pond.” The beetle sped off on his way. Inch by inch the snail crawled along the path. As she reached the pond, she thought, “It would be much shorter if I could somehow float across the water.” Perhaps I could build a boat. The snail gathered up some leaves, twigs and vine. She fashioned a small boat that helped her glide smoothly across the water of the pond. When she got to the other side, she hopped off the boat and could see all of her friends waiting for her at the finish line. Little by little the snail crept along the path until she crossed the finish line at long last. All of her friends cheered. “Hooray for snail!” they cried. A moment later the beetle came running across the finish line. “I can’t believe you beat me!” he said. “You know,” the snail replied with a smile, “being the fastest isn’t always everything”. “Sometimes if you just slow down for a moment and think about your challenge, you can come up with great solutions.”
