It wasn’t long before the bluebird flew down to perch on their fence. For lunch, she wanted a sandwich with lots of toppings. Her dad made the turkey sandwich she loved with pickles and mustard. That afternoon, she drew a picture to give to her teacher. Everyone at school admired the painting she had worked so hard on. As the day ended, she snuggled into bed, holding a stuffed animal she had since she was a baby. She smiled as she cuddled the teddy bear that always made her feel safe. Upon the arrival on land, the pilgrims were surprised to see the ground frozen and that led to their inability to plant and harvest food. 4. John Jr told Yuehan about the native Indians giving a hand to the pilgrims. The Indians taught the pilgrims how to gather food and survival skills. The help from the Indians save 53 pilgrims from ultimately perishing. Most of the pilgrims died from diseases described as a mixture of scurvy, pneumonia, and tuberculosis. 5. The following year, the 53 pilgrims and 90 Wampanoag Indians had a celebration that we now call Thanksgiving. The Mayflower was torn apart after Christopher Jones passed away. 6. John Jr and Yuehan started counting down the days to Thanksgiving. They planned a special tribute and prayer for the Pilgrim and Indians!

Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Timmy. Timmy wasn't very good at making friends, and he spent most of his time playing with his gadgets.

It is little eagles first day of kindergarten at Euclid Prep. He realizes the Eagle is the mascot of the school and feels comfort.

The children want to start collecting plastic bottle tops to recycle with Lids4Kids. They meet a nice volunteer who will drive their lids to Canberra for them. Then they send a letter home to their families and ask them to collect plastic bottle tops from milk bottles, pop bottles and water bottles. The children enjoy washing the lids in warm soapy water with their family (and pet dog). Next week all the children bring in a bag of lids each. Together they group the lids into colour groups. The nice volunteer pick them up and takes them to Lids4Kids in Canberra. The lids are then turned into a rainbow colored park bench. The teacher surprises the children by buying the rainbow park bench for their playground.
