Hurricane season in Jamaican is for June the November every year. Hurricane Beryl barely hit Jamaica. Jamaica has fourteen parishes, Manchester, St. James, St. Thomas, Kingston and St. Andrew, St. Ann, St. Mary, St. Elizabeth, Trelawny, St. Catherine, Clarendon, Portland, Westmoreland and Hanover During hurricane season, Jamaica buys extra dry goods, such as breads Foska Oats, Brunswick Sardines, tin mackerels, salted cod fish and alot of water. Most Jamaicans didnt think the storm was going to touch Jamaica. The rains started and the people especially those that did not prepare. The storm barely touched Jamaica. however the paishes and Manchester, St. Elizabeth and Clarendon were hit by the storm. alot of light posts went down. houses lost roofs. Bananas and plantines were the hardest hit

1. John Jr was at his local park in the Spring of 2024. He met a really friendly monkey. John Jr introduced himself. The friendly monkey said his name was Vasi. 2. John Jr noticed Vasi carried a special magic wand. John Jr was curious and wanted to know more about Vasi wand. 3. Vasi git his hand for his 5th Birthday from his grandpa. Vasi didn't realize that the wand was magical until he was almost 10. He said he stumbled upon it. He has learned the wand direct energy at a person or object for healing or the wand can change into other items, grow, vanish, or move. 3. Vasi did a trick where flowers started shooting out of the wand. Vasi then placed the wand on John Jr's blue shirt and then changed the shirt to green. John Jr was very impressed. 4. John Jr and Vasi went on a hike at the park. Vasi told John Jr the types of trees and flowers that they saw. Vasi showed John Jr a shortcut back to the playground. 5. John Jr played on the teeter toter together and then played on the slide. They had a blast together and became best friends. 6. Vasi seemed very wise and taught John Jr some safety tips while playing. It was dinner time and John Jr invited Vasi to join him. Vasi accepted John Jr invitation and they walked home together.

Every Halloween a young witch travels to cozy Halloween neighborhoods to trade out candy for a toy. This year there are more kiddos trading in their candy than ever before! She is running out of toys and must come up with a solution quick! She soon realizes she can make toys out of candy wrappers and use her magic to transform them into something amazing!

Logan and Elia change schools. Logan is going to grade 1 and Elia to grade 3. They are nervous but when they get there the kids are super nice and friendly and the yard is much nicer than at their old school. They make great friends and love their new school. They are very happy.

Mabel was still in the living room, laughing and laughing. From that day on, Daddy had a new name. Sioux means "little snakes" and Deacon is a proud member of the snake house. Lakota are known for their warrior culture and their Ghost Dance to protect their lands. Lakota Sioux manly hunt and eat buffalo. They would eat chokecherries and enjoy herbal tea. They use the buffalo skin to make blankets and teepees and moccasins for their feet. They live in "Tipis" the Sioux word for dwelling. The Lakota Sioux live in North America clustered in what is now Wisconsin, Minnesota and North and South Dakota or the Great Plains. Lakota Sioux were known for their beadwork and porcupine quillwork. Lakota Sioux would use canoes to travel and dogs/sleds to pull things. When horses were introduced to them it changed their culture. Long hair is important to the Lakota Sioux and should not be cut unless you are mourning the loss of a loved one. Lakota children played with rawhide dolls and throwing the willow spear. It is important to pass on the Lakota traditions and remember their 7 values of respect, compassion, honesty, generosity, wisdom, humility, and prayer.
