John Jr came across an envelope. Granny said they could open it. A map was in there. John Jr and Vasi studied it for a bit. 3. Granny explained it was a map of the Southside neighborhood. John Jr and Vasi wasted to go there bad, because the map showed a treasure hidden there. Granny took them to the area so John Jr and Vasi could explore. 4. John Jr and Vasiwalkaround for a few hours. They was about to give up, until they noticed an apple tree. The map showed the treasure near that. John Jr and Vasi studied the map a little more to figure out how it was position around that tree. 5. John Jr finds the spot and start digging. They get about 2 ft deep and see this hard plastic container. They get it out. 6. John Jr opens it up and finds a news paper from 1983. The headline was President Reagan created a day to honor Martin Luther King. They find some change that had 1983 imprinted on them. The was a tape of Michael Jackson's Thriller. 5. There was also a Care Bear with a heart on it. There was also some He-Man figurines. They find a box of Nerds candy. They wondered if the Nerds were safe to eat. 6. John Jr and Vasi takes the time capsule back to John Jr's Granny house. Everyone eats some supper. John Jr and Vasi go to their bedroom to play with the time capsule.

She reminded everyone that spending too much on defense—like when the animals once sent nuts and supplies to faraway lands—could leave them without enough for themselves. Big Bucks was persuasive. He convinced Maplewood to use almost all of their savings to build walls, just like in the Squirrel-Bird Dispute over Nut Valley, when they built forts and traps. Soon, Maplewood was pouring all its resources into Big Bucks’ projects. Penny noticed that things around town were falling apart. With so much money going to walls and gadgets, there was hardly anything left to fix schools, parks, or even make enough food! “What if we’re using up our savings on things that don’t help us every day?” she thought. Penny gathered everyone and shared her plan. “Instead of building walls, let’s work together and share what we have. The world needs peace, just like we learned in the Forest Unity Days!” She reminded them that when the animals had shared their food and tools, they had more than enough. As the animals talked and listened, they realized that the weasels weren’t all bad. They just needed help, too. Penny and her friends invited the weasels to work and play together in Maplewood, and soon they were all sharing the forest’s food and shelter. Nibbles was my beautiful hamster, with soft, fluffy fur and big, curious eyes. I had gotten her as a present from my parents and she quickly became my beloved pet. Every day, I would spend hours playing with Nibbles in her brightly colored cage. She loved to run on her wheel and explore every nook and cranny of her home. There was always one treat in that Nibbles couldn’t resist, sunflower seeds. As soon as she saw me holding the bag of seeds, she would stand on her hind legs and squeak excitedly. One day, I decided to take Nibbles out of her cage and let her explore my room. As Nibbles grew older, she started to slow down and spend more time napping. Although she was just a hamster, she had brought so much joy and love into my life. My heart sank as I realized she had passed away in her sleep. I couldn’t stop the tears from falling as I said goodbye to my beautiful hamster.
