Nik is from Haiti and moving to America to go to school. He is excited to meet his new family, 3 brothers and 2 sisters and a dog. He is very scared to leave Haiti. Nik was scared on the plane but loved seeing the big city lights. He liked his new home, it was bigger than hes ever seen. The washing machine and dryer was very scary to him because he had never seen one before. His dog Luna was sweet and friendly. All of the food is very different. He didn't like ice cream or cake but he loved spaghetti and pizza. Nik was both excited and sad at bedtime. He's never had a room or a bed to himself so it was a little scary. His new mom stayed with him until he was ready for sleep. As he lied there alone, looking at the stars in the sky, he wasn't scared anymore because he knew his family in Haiti was looking at the same stars.

Dad's two daughters Elaine and Lena are always whining. They whine about being hungry, tired, bored, etc.. Dad makes a joke of it by saying "Hello Hungry! I'm Dad" or "Hello Tired, Nice to Meet You." or "Hello Bored. Have you met Hungry?" One day, a rabbit named Cici got bored of eating the wild spinach around her yard. The spinach looked unattractive, even though her mother often gave the plants fertilizer. Cici walked restlessly, she kept looking for delicious food whether it was vegetables or fruit around the forest, but she never found it. Finally she came to a carrot field that she thought was unguarded by humans. She broke through and enjoyed the carrots which turned out to taste very sweet and fresh. “Ciciii, enough and come back here!” Kiki and Lulu approached Cici from outside the fence, and forbade her from continuing to eat the carrots. Cici didn't care and ran away, but she was caught in a trap net that was indeed in the field. Lulu and Kiki finally helped Cici untie the net, finally Cici was free from the trap and ran with Lulu and Kiki away from the field.

He grabbed an orange, berries in a dash, and off to the bus, he'd quickly flash. Energized and eager, for the day ahead, his lunch bag adventures, no one could dread. For Sere was a hero, fighting the good fight, making healthy choices, morning and night. The end of this tale, with lessons quite clear, choose healthy foods, have no fear. My daughter is 5 and her name is Kayleigh. She has autism and speech delay, but she is now starting to talk after being non verbal her entire life. I want to encourage other little kids to never give up. Autism and speech delay looks different for anyone dealing with it. You are amazing inside and out and you should always believe in yourself. Kayleigh began using a speech program on her ipad at the age of 3. She's been in ABA therapy since she was 2.5 years old and Speech, Occupational, and Physical therapy since 6 months of age. She's overcome many challenges but she is smart as a wip. She communicates very well with approximations and sign language and has very good receptive language. Kayleigh is such a bright little girl who has a heart that is full of love. Her and her mommy are best friends and love to sing together while listening our favorite Beyonce' song "Energy". She loves bubbles and also driving her 5 electric cars/jeeps. She also loves her pets Bella and Milani.

Little Bear woke up. He felt happy because could play outside. Little Bear played with his red ball. He kicked the ball, and it rolled far away. Little Bear felt sad. Little Bear asked Mommy Bear for help. Mommy Bear found the ball under a bush. He laughed and hugged his ball tightly. Then, Little Bear saw a big, loud truck on the road. The noise was very loud. Little Bear felt scared and ran to Mommy Bear. Mommy Bear gave Little Bear a big hug. "It's okay, Little Bear. You are safe," she said. Little Bear felt safe and happy. Later, Little Bear asked Mommy Bear for some ice cream. But Mommy Bear said, "First lunch, then ice cream." Little Bear felt angry. He stomped his feet and crossed his arms. Mommy Bear said, "It's okay to feel angry. Let's take a deep breath together." They took a deep breath in and blew it out slowly. Little Bear started to feel calmer. They had lunch together, and then Mommy Bear gave Little Bear some ice cream. Little Bear felt happy again.
