Ang Panagbenga ay salitang galing sa Cordillera na ang kahulugan ay panahon ng pagbukadkad ng bulaklak. Binibigyang halaga sa pistang ito ang naggagandahang bulaklak kung saan kilala ang lungsod na ito. Nagsimula ang pagdiriwang ng Panagbenga noong 1995. Isinagawa ng pistang ito para maiangat muli ang Lungsod ng Baguio mula sa malagim na lindol noong 1990. Maraming gawain ang makikita sa pagdiriwang ng Panagbenga. Ang pinakasikat at inaabangang gawain tuwing pista ng bulaklak ay ang parada. Kasama sa paradang ito ay sayawan sa kalsada at pagtugtog ng mga banda. Pinakabida sa paradang ito ang mga higanteng karosa na puno ng mga magaganda at mababangong bulaklak. Sa paggawa ng karosang ito, ipinakikita ng mga Pilipino ang kanilang pagiging malikhain at pagiging matulungin. Ipinaparada ang mga ito sa malalaking kalsada ng lungsod. The blind man finally said, “Thank you, young boy.” “You’re welcome,” Peter replied pleasantly. Peter felt like being helpful was good. Peter continued walking to the park to find his dog, Moder. Moder is a husky. Peter saw Moder and hugged the white and brown big husky. In the park, Peter met his father’s friend. He was Mr. Alex, who was the owner of Moder. When Peter was about to leave the park, Mr. Alex called him and gave Moder to him. Mr. Alex said pleasantly, “Please take good care of him.” Peter gladly replied, “I promise to take good care of this lovely dog.” Peter headed home happily.

At the bakery, her father bought a cake for the family. They all sat down that evening to enjoy the chocolate cake with sprinkles on top. Later, the little girl asked for a book to read before bed. Her mother handed her the storybook they had just borrowed from the library. In the morning, she looked out the window and noticed a bird chirping on a branch. It wasn’t long before the bluebird flew down to perch on their fence. For lunch, she wanted a sandwich with lots of toppings. Her dad made the turkey sandwich she loved with pickles and mustard. That afternoon, she drew a picture to give to her teacher. Everyone at school admired the painting she had worked so hard on. As the day ended, she snuggled into bed, holding a stuffed animal she had since she was a baby. She smiled as she cuddled the teddy bear that always made her feel safe. And so, the little girl learned that while a begins a story, it’s the that makes it special.

This is a children's book about a group of 4 best friend ocean explorers who call themselves The Seabirds. They're all girls, ages 6, 10, 10 and 14 and live in a coastal town named Blue Harbor. They spend every day after school in their tree house hideout which overlooks the ocean as they plan the afternoon's adventure. They love nature and want to protect it, building friendships based on exploration, the ocean, adventures, and asking questions about conservation and pollution of each other. They are like a team of climate saving, pollution fighting explorers who build solid friendships with each other. this will be part of a larger series called The Seabirds and each book will explore tackling different environmental problems like microplastics, ocean acidification, etc. This is the first book in the series.
