Once upon a time, in a sunny meadow, there lived a friendly alligator. Alligator was a happy alligator who loved adventures. One day, as Alligator strolled along the edge of a sparkling blue lake, he saw a shiny apple floating in the water. He wanted to taste it, but there was a problem. Alligator was afraid of water and couldn't swim! Determined to get that apple, Alligator decided to ask for help. He met an agile ant, who was known for her amazing swimming skills. Ant agreed to help Alligator. She climbed onto a leaf and paddled to the apple, using her tiny legs like oars. With her teamwork and bravery, they retrieved the apple. Alligator took a big bite of the apple, and it was delicious! He thanked Ant for her help and decided to learn to swim, so he wouldn't have to rely on others in the future. Alligator and Ant became the best of friends, and they had many more exciting adventures together, both on land and in the water.

The birds are singing!” her father said. Thazkie closed her eyes and listened carefully. “It sounds so peaceful,” she whispered. Page 4 Her father nodded and explained, “Allah gave each creature a special way to praise Him. The birds sing, and the trees grow tall and strong. Each one is special in its own way.” Page 3 As they reached the edge of the lake, Thazkie saw fish swimming in the clear water. They looked so happy and free! “Papa, why did Allah make so many different animals?” she asked. Her father replied, “Allah created every animal, plant, and human with a purpose. Each one is a sign of His love and creativity.” Page 4 On their way home, Thazkie thought about all the amazing things she saw. She felt grateful for the beautiful world Allah had created. “I want to thank Allah for all these wonderful things,” she said. Page 5 Her father smiled and held her hand. “That’s right, Thazkie.We can thank Allah every day by appreciating His creations and taking care of them.” And from that day on, Thazkie remembered to look around her and say a little “thank you” to Allah whenever she saw something beautiful.

Sadie loved her family, but sometimes she found it hard to have her parents living in two different houses. Even though it was tough, she knew they were still one big, loving family. Sadie often expressed her feelings through her colorful paintings and crafts. Her art was a way to show what was in her heart. Sadie is full of anxiety and gets worried about what people think and going into the big world out there. It was very scary for Sadie. Sadie loved playing softball even though she never felt like she was never good enough. Sadie longed to have more time with friends who often chose other friends over her. She knew her animals were always there to keep her from being alone.

Sophia loves shoes which is actually quite exciting. With so many feet, the thought of all her shoes is actually quite delighting. SHHH... listen carefully, tip tap tip tap. It's a sound you're beginning to know. Tip tap, it's Sophia coming to say hello. Sophia shongololo loves shoes of all shapes, sizes and colours. Especially ones that sparkle and gleam. When she is marching along the forest floor it's the most magnificent sight you have ever seen. Shhh, listen carefully tip tap tip tap. Her footsteps sound like a beating drum. Look at all her shoes sparkle in the sun. How many shoes can you count? 1. Sydney and John were best friends who loved to explore. 2. One day, while walking near an empty field, they found an old watering can with the words "Plant kindness, watch it grow" written on it. Beside it lay a small packet of seeds labeled "The Seeds of Kindness." And because of her curiosity, Sydney said, “Let’s plant them and see what happens!” 3. They spent the afternoon digging small holes in the field and planted the seeds. They watered them carefully with the old watering can and went home, wondering what would grow. 4. The next morning, they rushed back to the field. To their amazement, the seeds had grown into tall, colorful flowers with heart shaped petals. 5. Each flower had a little tag that read a kind word like "Help," "Share," or "Smile." Each time they performed an act of kindness, the flowers in the field grew brighter and taller. 6. Soon, other children joined in, planting their own Seeds of Kindness. The once-empty field turned into a beautiful garden where everyone loved to gather, play, and help one another.

Hunter and his Daddy are in the park playing baseball. Hunter spots a bird with an injured wing in the outfield. He convinces his Daddy that they need to take him home and nurse him back to health. Hunter and his daddy learn that all the bird really needs is food, water, shelter, and love. Eventually, the bird is healed and they release him. While they are tending to the bird, Hunter and his daddy share thoughts about the importance of kindness and empathy. (Hunter names the bird "Mickey" in honor of his grandpa's favorite baseball player - Mickey Mantle. They found the bird in centerfield and Mickey Mantle played centerfield)

The book is called Pauly’s Pool Day. It's a Children's Book with a targeted audience of 3yrs-3th grade and revolves around body image and self-confidence as a young kid of color finding his worth. It is an engaging and heartwarming tale that combines the insecurities young boy might have going to the pool with not taking their shirt off and gaining confidence from his parents The manuscript is complete, and I am now seeking an illustrator who can capture the essence of the story through captivating visuals that will appeal to readers of all ages.

Jay is an 8 year old boy who sometimes struggles with his emotions. During a walk in the jungle, he meets three friends, a bear, a female deer, and a wise turtle. They teach him about the three survival instincts, Fight, Flight and Freeze. Jay learns that these are normal characteristics that we are born with and just like the bear, deer and turtle, he uses them too. He feels better about his big feelings, and is able to understand why he has them a bit better thanks to his three new friends.
