Our memory and our brain are amazing! However, it does not record our lives like a book! You cannot go back to a previous chapter to retrieve memories accurately. Attention issues, prior knowledge, and memory decay all interfere with the actual memories that are stored. There are so many different parts to our memory that all work separately and together to help us experience and remember life. Your task is to create a children's book about manny the monkey that creates a story highlighting KEY concepts for each aspect of memory: Encoding, Storage, & Retrieval. It was a crisp October day, I woke up to the other dogs whining as the shelter workers let us all out of our kennels. Yes! Freedom! I ran so fast to the playroom to play with my friends! Today was going to be a big day - I can feel it! I played for hours and hours, until I had to have a nap. After lunch I saw two humans walk in and sit on the floor. Everyone crowded around them, jumping on them. Get yourself together guys I thought. I quietly walked over and sat by the mans huge feet. I knew the drill, people visited us all the time and had a few cuddles. As I sat watching the commotion of Simba getting silly all over this ladies lap. I met eyes with the lady human, she immediately picked me up. My legs were dangling and I thought jeez lady I just had breakfast. I stared into her and she stared back, she said "its you, your the one." I said to myself ok lady, do you have food or a ball? The lady stood up and talked with a shelter worker, she came back and said "I'm going to be your new Mom" and I thought "Mom?." She said she would be back, she came back with a new collar and name tag with the name "Koda."

1. John Jr's Granny had been getting messages from Jesus. Granny said "Jesus was going to Isreal in the near future." Granny claimed that Jesus was also offended over "thought and prayer" reading implanantable devices. John Jr wanted to learn more about Jesus. 2. Granny explained, Jesus was the son of God and that he had died for the sins of humanity. Jesus was born to two ordinary Jewish people called Mary and Joseph in Bethlehem. From age 12 to 30, Jesus worked in Nazareth as a carpenter. Once he was an adult, Jesus travelled all over the country teaching people about God and encouraging people to respect and love one another. He also performed miracles, healed sick people and told amazing stories about God. He had all together 13 different disciples that helped him in spreading the word of God. 3. John thought Jesus sounded tough and kind and wanted to live in a manner like Jesus. 4. Granny read the Bible to John and gave him an important bible verse to remember. John 3:16 says "“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Granny thinks that verse gives people the glorious hope of eternal life in heaven through the love of God and death of Jesus Christ. Granny was also excited that she would eventually get to meet Jesus and God. Because there's something about it. I did a little book for John junior about. I don't have it yet. I don't think I have it yet.

Once upon a time, in a vast and lush green forest, there lived a wise tortoise whom everyone respected. His name was Kavi. Kavi was old but very knowledgeable. Kavi lived by the edge of a great lake. His home was hidden inside an old log covered in moss. The animals of the forest loved visiting him because Kavi always told interesting stories and gave wise counsel. One day, a big argument broke out in the forest. The rabbit, Tikur, accidentally took the acorns that the squirrel, Mirmir, had collected to his own burrow. Mirmir was very angry about this, and the animals of the forest were divided. Some supported Tikur, while others sided with Mirmir. The argument grew louder, and the animals started shouting at each other. Finally, they all decided to go see Kavi. The wise tortoise asked everyone to listen carefully and then began to speak slowly: “My dear friends, first of all, we must stay calm. Tıkır, did you take Mırmır’s acorns on purpose, or was it a mistake?” Tıkır bowed his head in sadness and said, “It was not my fault. I only picked up the ones that had fallen to the ground and took them to my burrow, thinking they were mine.”Kavi smiled and turned to Mırmır: “Mırmır, my friend, we now see that Tıkır made a mistake. But would you rather forgive this mistake, or continue fighting?”Mırmır thought for a moment and then sighed: “I know my friend didn’t do this with bad intentions. But I was very upset when I lost my acorns.” Kavi nodded and spoke wisely: “We all make mistakes from time to time. What matters is that we acknowledge our mistakes and learn to forgive one another.” Tıkır immediately stood up and promised Mırmır that he would collect plenty of acorns for him. Mırmır forgave him, and the two old friends made peace. From that day on, whenever there was a disagreement in the forest, the animals remembered Kavi’s wise words. The greatest lesson Kavi had taught them was about friendship and understanding.
